DOYLE'S LIFE SUPPORT ACADEMY LLC

By registering, purchasing, scheduling, attending, participating in, or receiving any service from Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. CERTIFYING ORGANIZATIONS

Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC provides training through various certifying organizations, including but not limited to:

  • American Heart Association (AHA)
  • American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Health & Safety Institute (HSI)
  • Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI)
  • Stop the Bleed®
  • Other approved healthcare and emergency response organizations

All courses are taught using the most current guidelines, standards, policies, and training materials available at the time of instruction.

Course requirements, testing standards, certification requirements, and provider manuals are subject to change without notice.

2. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION DISCLAIMER

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association.

Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the American Heart Association.

4. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Full payment is required before class unless otherwise approved in writing.

Corporate accounts may be invoiced under separate written agreements.

Course seats are not guaranteed until payment has been received.

Prices may change without notice.

5. NO REFUND POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Student cancellation
  • No-show attendance
  • Late arrival
  • Failure to complete prerequisites
  • Failure to pass testing
  • Failure to bring required documents
  • Employer scheduling conflicts
  • Personal emergencies
  • Transportation issues
  • Weather-related travel disruptions
  • Work conflicts
  • Family emergencies
  • Failure to complete online coursework

Students acknowledge that course materials, instructor time, scheduling resources, and facility reservations are reserved specifically for them.

6. BLENDED LEARNING REQUIREMENTS

Many courses offered by Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC utilize a Blended Learning format. Blended Learning courses require successful completion of online coursework before attending the instructor-led classroom, skills session, or skills verification appointment.

Students are solely responsible for understanding all course requirements before scheduling a class.

American Heart Association (AHA) Blended Learning Courses

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • HeartCode BLS
  • HeartCode ACLS
  • HeartCode PALS
  • Heartsaver CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Heartsaver First Aid Blended Learning
  • Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid Blended Learning
  • Any future AHA blended learning course requiring online coursework and an instructor-led skills session

American Red Cross (ARC) Blended Learning Courses

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Basic Life Support Blended Learning
  • Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Adult First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning
  • CPR AED for Professional Rescuers Blended Learning
  • Lifeguarding Blended Learning
  • Lifeguarding Review Blended Learning
  • Emergency Medical Response Blended Learning
  • Wilderness and Remote First Aid Blended Learning
  • Any future ARC blended learning course requiring online coursework and instructor-led skills verification

Health & Safety Institute (HSI) Blended Learning Courses

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Adult First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Basic Life Support Blended Learning
  • Advanced First Aid Blended Learning
  • Bloodborne Pathogens Blended Learning
  • Emergency Oxygen Administration Blended Learning
  • Child and Babysitting Safety Blended Learning
  • Any future HSI blended learning course requiring online coursework and skills verification

Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) Blended Learning Courses

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • CPR AED Blended Learning
  • Basic Life Support Blended Learning
  • First Aid Blended Learning
  • Advanced First Aid Blended Learning
  • Emergency Medical Responder Blended Learning
  • Any future ECSI blended learning course requiring online coursework and instructor-led skills verification

Mandatory Online Course Completion

Students must successfully complete all required:

  • Online learning modules
  • Online course assignments
  • Pre-course self-assessments
  • Pre-course examinations
  • Required surveys
  • Course completion requirements

BEFORE arriving for their scheduled classroom session, skills session, or testing appointment.

Students must bring proof of completion if requested by Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC.

Scheduling Requirements

Students should not purchase an online course and schedule a skills session on the same day unless they are absolutely certain they can complete all required online coursework beforehand.

Students should not schedule a skills session within one or two days of purchasing an online course unless they fully understand the time commitment and requirements associated with the course.

Failure to properly plan for online course completion does not create an exception to these Terms and Conditions.

Failure to Complete Online Requirements

Students who arrive without completing all required online coursework, assessments, examinations, and prerequisites will NOT be permitted to:

  • Enter the classroom
  • Participate in the skills session
  • Participate in testing
  • Receive certification
  • Receive an eCard
  • Receive a refund

Students who fail to complete online requirements before class will be considered a NO-SHOW.

Rescheduling Policy

One courtesy reschedule may be granted at the sole discretion of Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC.

The courtesy reschedule must be used within forty-five (45) days of the original course date.

Additional reschedule requests may require payment of a new registration fee and may be denied.

Online Course Keys and Digital Products

Online course keys, digital licenses, eBooks, access codes, online learning subscriptions, and electronic course materials issued by:

  • American Heart Association
  • American Red Cross
  • Health & Safety Institute
  • Emergency Care & Safety Institute
  • Any other certifying organization

are NON-REFUNDABLE once issued.

These products become active immediately upon issuance and cannot be returned, exchanged, transferred, or refunded.

No Refund Policy for Blended Learning Courses

Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC does not provide refunds for:

  • Failure to complete online coursework
  • Failure to complete pre-course assessments
  • Failure to complete pre-course examinations
  • Failure to bring proof of completion
  • Failure to attend a scheduled skills session
  • Scheduling errors made by the student
  • Failure to understand course requirements
  • Failure to pass testing requirements

All sales are final.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

Certification cards will not be issued unless all course requirements have been successfully completed.

8. REMEDIATION POLICY

Students who fail skills evaluations or written examinations may be required to complete remediation.

Remediation fees may apply.

Students who fail required testing after remediation may be required to register and pay for a new course.

9. eCARD POLICY

Certification cards are issued only after:

  • Successful completion of course requirements
  • Verification of prerequisites
  • Completion of skills testing
  • Completion of written testing
  • Verification of payment

Certification cards remain the property of the issuing organization.

Lost certification cards may require replacement fees.

10. CORPORATE AND HOSPITAL TRAINING

Corporate clients are responsible for:

  • Course fees
  • Instructor fees
  • Travel fees
  • Facility fees
  • Mileage charges
  • Parking fees
  • Toll fees
  • Equipment fees
  • Materials fees

Invoices must be paid according to the terms stated on the invoice.

Late payments may be subject to collection costs and legal fees.

11. TRAVEL FEES

Travel fees are calculated from Doyle’s Life Support Academy’s designated business office.

Travel zones, mileage charges, and weekend premiums may apply.

Travel fees are non-refundable once instructors have been scheduled.

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Rural locations
  • High traffic locations
  • Multiple-day events
  • Holiday events
  • Emergency scheduling

12. REGUS TRAINING FACILITIES

Doyle’s Life Support Academy may utilize Regus office locations throughout Texas.

Clients shall not independently reserve Regus facilities for Academy courses.

All reservations must be coordinated through Doyle’s Life Support Academy.

Clients requesting Regus facilities agree to pay all associated room rental fees and facility costs.

13. ON-SITE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Organizations requesting on-site training must provide:

  • Adequate classroom space
  • Adequate seating
  • HDMI-compatible display equipment
  • CPR practice area
  • Testing area
  • Climate-controlled environment
  • Safe working conditions

Failure to provide appropriate facilities may result in cancellation without refund.

14. INSTRUCTOR COURSES

Instructor candidates must satisfy all provider-level prerequisites before enrolling.

Monitoring requirements, alignment requirements, and Training Center requirements must be met.

Completion of an instructor course does not guarantee instructor status, Training Center alignment, employment, or affiliation.

15. STUDENT CONDUCT

Students may be removed from class without refund for:

  • Disruptive behavior
  • Harassment
  • Threatening conduct
  • Intoxication
  • Drug use
  • Unsafe actions
  • Academic dishonesty

16. RECORDING POLICY

Unauthorized audio recording, video recording, livestreaming, photography, or reproduction of course materials is prohibited.

17. FORCE MAJEURE

Doyle’s Life Support Academy shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to perform services caused by events beyond reasonable control.

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.

19. COLLECTIONS

Accounts not paid according to agreed terms may be referred to collections.

Customers agree to pay:

  • Collection fees
  • Court costs
  • Attorney fees
  • Interest permitted by law

20. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Any dispute shall be brought exclusively within the State of Texas.

21. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

By registering for any course, making payment, scheduling services, attending training, or participating in any program offered by Doyle’s Life Support Academy LLC, the customer electronically agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

No physical signature is required.

Electronic registration, attendance, payment, participation, or use of services constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
